Securing a place for your child
Children can participate in a kindergarten program in the year before they start Prep, at school. This means your child will be at least 4 years old by 30 June in the year they attend kindy here.

Enrolment offers will begin in June of the year prior to attending.
We welcome children with additional needs
Our kindy commits funds for children with additional needs to be able to access our program. We have an Inclusion Assistant who is available on a needs basis. Please include details on your application form or contact us directly.

8.30 – 2.30 (Yellow Group – beginning of week)
8.30 – 2.30 (Red Group – end of week)
8.45 – 2.45 (Blue Group – end of week)
From end of session to 5.30
Fees for 2020 are $43 per day ($1075 per term, 4 terms per year).
- Excursion fee $45
- Association membership fee $5 (1 parent at least must be a member).
- Maintenance levy $150 (refunded if 2 maintenance rosters completed).
$13 per hour; $6.50 per half hour; minimum charge is $13.
Holders of Health Care Cards will be eligible for a subsidy.
Government funding may be available to support children with a disability to access our kindergarten program.
Fee relief may be considered by the Committee in events of financial hardship.

Consistent with changes to the Public Health Act 2005 (Qld), Ashgrove Memorial Kindergarten will accept enrolment but refuse attendance of children who are not ‘up to date’ with their scheduled vaccinations. Click here to read our Enrolment Immunisation Policy.
